Several of our organizations offer English language classes, citizenship test preparation, GED test preparation, and/or job training.


Progreso Latino

Progreso Latino offers the following classes: ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages), Native Literacy, Adult Basic Education, Adult Secondary Education, Citizenship, Job Training/IET/RI-Best, and Job Developments.

Dorcas International Institute of Rhode Island

Dorcas International offers courses in Citizenship Prep, Community Interpreting, Direct Care Professional, English, and Family Literacy.

Refugee Dream Center

The Refugee Dream Center provides free job training and English language classes for refugees. The classes are designed for a wide range of learning levels, and childcare is provided. Courses offered include Citizenship Classes, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Classes, Financial Literacy Workshops, Computer/Digital Literacy Training, and Job Search Assistance.

Crossroads Rhode Island

Crossroads RI is dedicated to helping people who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Crossroads assists with resumes, finding and applying to jobs, and exploring careers.
